Prices and scope

Every price and what it covers

Four products, each with a price, a timeline and a boundary. Everything else is worked through below.

The price and the timeline in the price list, on the product page and in the email are the same. They come from one place, so they cannot disagree.

What the price is made of

Not the number of pages. Four things — and each of them is a separate line in the estimate. That is why an estimate here is a list of lines, not one turnkey figure.

Decisions
How many decisions have to be made: structure, copy, visual route. The more forks, the longer it takes to reach the first assembled page.
Screens
How many screens to draw. A one-page site with four sections and a five-page site are different amounts of drawing, not different levels of quality.
Copy
How much copy has to be written and across how many screens it is laid out. I write the copy — but the more clearly you explain what you sell and to whom, the fewer rounds it takes for that copy to become true rather than vague.
Rounds of revisions
How many rounds we plan for. A round is one collected list of notes, not a week-long correspondence.

Working terms

These are usually found out at the end. Here they stand before the scope table, because the decision is made on these four points, not on a list of sections.

Payment

Half on estimate approval, half on delivery. I issue the invoice before the work starts; until it is paid, the work has not started. No payment you did not know about in advance will appear on it.

Warranty

After delivery I fix free of charge whatever broke through no change of yours: markup, forms, links, behaviour on a phone. The warranty period is 30 days. New wishes are not covered — those count as a modifier.

Right of withdrawal, 14 days

If you are a private individual, you have 14 days to withdraw from the contract without giving a reason. If you ask me to start earlier, I take your explicit consent to that — then, on withdrawal, you pay for the part already done, not for the whole order. The full text and the withdrawal form.

If we part ways

You pay for what was done and take the sources. The domain is registered to you, the access is yours, I hand the files over the same day and free of charge. I do not hold work hostage — not the files, not the domain, not the access. The full terms.

Four products side by side

Not what a landing includes on one page and what a site includes on another, but one question at a time across all four. That shows what you are actually paying the difference for.

The table only carries rows where the answers differ. Where it says «—», the question does not apply to that product: Rescue has no sections of its own, because the pages are already written — and not by me. That is not a no, it is a different subject.

The full scope of each product is in its card above and on its own page: Landing, Site, Rescue.

The rows on which the products differ. The price in the head comes from the same cards as above; not one cell is typed into the markup.

What gets added to the price — and only if you chose it

The four lines that most often turn a 200 € elsewhere into a different figure. Here they are named in advance, before the estimate.

These prices are part of the price list: they enter the estimate as the same figures and do not move after you agree. Rush delivery is sold only when the queue allows it: I run no more than two projects at a time.

Price variantThe only line that lowers the price

A credit in the footer costs less

Every piece of work with a footer has two variants: with my line at the bottom and without it. This is not a sale and not a limited offer — two permanent variants of one piece of work. The published price is the variant without the credit, and you never pay more than it.

Landing200 €180 €
Landing+250 €225 €
Site890 €840 €
Rescuefrom 290 €−29 € off the estimate

The variant does not apply to care plans: a monthly price that depended on a line in your footer would give me a monthly reason to inspect your markup. Where the price is stated as «from», the variant is counted as a line in the estimate rather than as a second soft figure.

The line looks like this — one line of text in the last row of the footer, the same size as the rest of the small print:

The link carries rel="sponsored": it was obtained in exchange for a price reduction, such links are required to be marked, and a marked link passes no ranking weight. Which is why I do not sell it to you as an SEO benefit. The detailed terms are in clause 4.

What it costs for the first year

Counted out loud. The project is paid for once, hosting twelve times, the domain once a year. None of these lines appears on an invoice unannounced, and none of them is hidden inside the project price.

The first year for Landing on the Hosting only plan. The amounts come from the same cards as above — they are not typed again. The domain passes through at the registrar's cost — for .lv today that is 14.52 €/yr, other zones (.eu, .de, .com) at their own price named in the estimate — so the total is written as a sum plus the domain.

From the second year there are two payments: hosting and the domain. The project price does not repeat — you pay it once.

Questions about the price

Why is this cheaper than an agency?

Because you are paying one person rather than the team around him. At an agency the price includes a project manager, a salesperson and an office; I have none of those — you write to me, and I am the one who answers. In exchange I take fewer projects at a time and do not do what is not in the price list.

Why is this dearer than a freelance marketplace?

On a marketplace you buy a contractor's hours. Here you buy a named price, a named date and a written scope: what is included, what is not, and what happens if the result does not fit. If you need a couple of hours of edits rather than a product, the marketplace is cheaper, and I will say so plainly.

Is the published price final?

Yes. VAT is not applicable, so nothing is added to the price when the invoice is issued. The only thing that can appear on it is what you chose as a separate line — a modifier or a care plan.

What if the scope grows during the work?

Then I stop and name a new price and a new date before continuing. Quietly finishing and billing more is not allowed: the price you agreed is the price of the scope that was written down.

Why are the price and the date named before the work starts?

Because an open-ended timeline is feared more than the price. I name the delivery date at the second step, together with the estimate, and until your yes the work has not started. How it works step by step.

Can I pay in instalments?

The payment is already split: Half on estimate approval, half on delivery. I do not offer another schedule — it complicates something that should stay simple.

I only need hosting, without a project. Is that possible?

It is. The Hosting only plan is sold separately, without a project and without any obligation to order anything from me. The care plans.

Name the task — I will come back with a price and a date

Describe what you need. In reply you get a fixed price, a fixed delivery date and a list of what is included and what is not. Until you agree, the work has not started.
